CINEMATOGRAPHER

Nolan Verheij is a Cinematographer based in between Wellington, New Zealand and Byron Bay, Australia. Influenced by his early work in photojournalism, Nolan puts authenticity and the human experience at the forefront of his filmmaking. Nolan moves between his two passions, documentary, and narrative. His ongoing documentary work has taken him to the Middle East and Europe covering the refugee crisis and producing award-winning documentaries. In 2021 he was DP on an Australian feature film "Unravelling" and three short films which will be on the festival circuit this year. He was also DOP and editor of the feature documentary “Freedom is Beautiful” that premiered this  year at the Sydney Film Festival Commercially, he has directed and shot campaigns in lifestyle, Surf, fashion, for national and international brands. nolanverheijfilms
