Synopsis: Between steadfast locals and diverse traveler's, Sunny struggles to find solace in his hometown.

The Chieftain Of The Pudding Race is a 30-minute narrative short film set in and around a small regional tourist town in Australia. It is a story that targets a unique way to live, which is that of traveling and living the slow life in a paradise town; a condensed international melting pot.

Though the story follows a younger guy, Sunny, the film is about the ideas that are instigated upon him, rather than just about him. The story is deeply rooted in social ironies and contradiction. While touching on the idea of being a tourist in the town you grew up in, this film is about breaking out of the bubble that the world has come to visit. After extensive travel and experiencing many transient settings around the world, it has become a special idea that Shane has wanted to touch on.
